Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we're looking for an AI intern to join our Data Science team. As an AI Intern, you will focus on curating and optimizing data to enhance training speed and performance for foundational models, particularly image encoders and multimodal models. This role provides an exciting opportunity to explore advanced data curation methods, with a direct impact on model efficiency and effectiveness.

**What you'll get to do**:

- Focus on data quality improvement methods to accelerate model training and improve model performance.
- Conduct experiments to test data curation techniques and validate their impact on training times.
- Work closely with engineers to incorporate findings into model pipelines and training processes.
- Develop best practices for data handling and preprocessing to ensure high-quality inputs for model training.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, image data handling, and model training.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently.

**What puts you over the top**:

- Experience with advanced data augmentation and curation methods.
- Familiarity with foundational models like Vision Transformers or other image encoders.
