**About the job**

At RHI Magnesita we are looking for a Process Engineer based in Valenciennes for our RHI Magnesita plants in Valenciennes and Flaumont-Waudrechies. In this key position, you will oversee every step of the production process and will report directly to the Plant Manager. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, and optimizing current processes. You will support the local management team by collecting and analyzing the process data available on site, such as for tunnel kilns, mixers, etc. The analysis of process parameters, together with your technical expertise, will allow you to identify possible bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Conducting tests and monitoring process performance during production
- Performing process simulations & troubleshooting
- Developing best practices, routines & innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
- Supporting in the design and planning of the equipment layout

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education & Skills**
- Degree in ceramic, chemical or general engineering with a focus on process engineering
- Knowledge of process engineering software systems

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- French - Would be a significant asset
- Any other language is considered an asset

**Work Experience**
- Some years of relevant professional experience in a similar role

Chez RHI Magnesita, nous recherchons un Ingénieur Process basé à Valenciennes pour nos usines RHI Magnesita de Valenciennes et Flaumont-Waudrechies. Dans ce poste, vous superviserez toutes les étapes du processus de production et vous rendrez comptes au Directeur de l'usine. En tant qu'Ingénieur Process, vous serez responsable du développement et de la mise en œuvre de stratégies de procédés, de la gestion des ressources de procédés et de l'optimisation des procédés actuels. Vous soutiendrez l'équipe de gestion locale en recueillant et en analysant les données de processus disponibles sur le site, par exemple pour les fours tunnel, les mélangeurs, etc. L'analyse des paramètres du processus, associée à votre expertise technique, vous permettra d'identifier les éventuels goulets d'étranglement et les possibilités d'optimisation.

**Vos tâches comprendront en outre**
- Réalisation de tests et contrôle des performances du processus pendant la production
- Effectuer des simulations de processus et des dépannages
- Développer les meilleures pratiques, routines et solutions innovantes pour améliorer les taux de production et la qualité de la production
