To strengthen the R&D programs and related services within our company, we are looking for a**:LC-MS ENGINEER**

**Job description**

Under the responsibility ofthe laboratory head, your main missions are to:

- Manage a team of 2-3 laboratory technicians for the organisation of routine analysis
- Perform analysis of micropollutants (pesticides, pharmaceuticals, metabolites) in water samples by HPLC-HRMS
- Analyze data and report results
- Follow-up client studies, offer technical support for clients
- Provide technical support to Sales teams (for documentation, prospection, website )
- Maintain equipment (perform routine maintenance, plan supplier maintenance and repairs...)
- Follow consumables stock, manage orders and keep in contact with suppliers
- Maintain and improve quality system ISO 17025 (documentation, traceability, participation to audits )
- Follow-up of sample reception, storage and organisation in the laboratory freezers and cold rooms.

**Your Profile**
- Diploma in analytical chemistry : BSc or MSc with experience in team management
- At least a B2 level in French and English is required, proficiency in German is a plus
- Practical experience in LC-MS, preferably with Thermo equipment (Orbitrap technology) and software (Xcalibur, TraceFinder);
- Knowledge of safety rules and Good Laboratory Practice;
- Good presentation skills, good communication with clients;
- Force of proposal, problem-solving, driven by continuous improvement and client satisfaction;
- Desire to lead a small team and manage client projects.
