You will work on our patented hybrid propulsion technology involving fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamic systems. You will be part of a 5-person team working closely with other departments to develop and mature our engines for multiple use cases. **Your key responsibilities**: We will entrust you with the following key responsibilities: - Perform aerodynamic analysis using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental techniques to predict aerodynamic performance, heat transfer, and thermal loads. - Conduct simulations and analyses related to fluid flow, thermal management, and structural impacts due to temperature variations. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, structural, and systems engineers, to ensure aerodynamic and thermal requirements are met. - Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in aerodynamics and thermodynamics. **Who we seek**: You have a demonstrated experience in aerothermodynamics analysis and design, preferably in the aerospace industry and more a strong understanding of heat transfer principles, including conduction, convection, and radiation and past experience with Heat exchanger. You are proficient in in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools such as OpenFOAM You are able to conduct simulations on HPC cloud services like AWS or Qarnot. Your are recognized for your results orientation, your excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. You have knowledge of structural-thermal interaction modeling, and are familiar with MATLAB, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and simulation post-processing.
