**Responsabilités**
- Fournir les soins quotidiens, notamment les promenades, l’administration de médicaments et le respect de son protocole d’alimentation spécifique.
- Veiller à ce qu’elle bénéficie de suffisamment d’exercice, de jeux et de stimulation mentale pour maintenir sa santé physique et émotionnelle.
- Surveiller son comportement et son état de santé, et signaler rapidement tout problème au propriétaire.
- Maintenir un environnement propre, notamment en nettoyant après elle et en gardant ses espaces de vie rangés.
- Suivre scrupuleusement les consignes données concernant ses soins médicaux, son alimentation et ses routines.
- Établir une relation de confiance avec elle et communiquer régulièrement avec le propriétaire pour fournir des nouvelles sur son bien-être.
- Tenir à jour un journal des horaires d’alimentation, des médicaments, des activités et de tout besoin particulier.

**Compétences**
- Solide compréhension du comportement animal, notamment chez les chiens énergiques ou ayant des besoins spécifiques.
- Expérience dans la gestion de problèmes médicaux chez les chiens (une expérience du mégaœsophage est un atout).
- Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais pour interagir efficacement avec le propriétaire de l’animal et fournir des mises à jour sur sa santé et son comportement.
- Bonne gestion du temps afin d’assurer une attention optimale pendant les visites programmées.

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide daily care, including walking, administering medication, and following a specialized feeding protocol.
- Ensure she receives adequate exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation to maintain her physical and emotional health.
- Monitor behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly.
- Maintain a clean environment, including cleaning up after her and ensuring her living areas are tidy.
- Follow specific instructions provided regarding medical care, diet, and routines.
- Build a trusting relationship with her and communicate effectively with the owner to provide updates on her well-being.
- Keep accurate records of feeding schedules, medication, activities, and any special needs.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of animal behavior, particularly in high-energy and special-needs dogs.
- Experience with managing medical conditions in dogs (experience with megaesophagus is preferred).
- Excellent English language communication skills to interact effectively with the pet owner and provide updates on health and behavior.
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure all necessary attention is provided within scheduled visits.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to provide a comforting presence for a high-energy dog.
- Reliability and trustworthiness are crucial, as you will be staying in our home and caring for a beloved family member.

**Additional Information**
This is an ongoing position with several upcoming trips planned and occasional drop-in visits needed. The sitter will be required to stay in my home during my absence. The position pays €200 per day and includes a €30 per diem.
