**Current Vacancy - Dev Ops Engineer based in Montrouge, Île-de-France, France**

You will contribute to technical discussions, and you will be an integral part of the system design teams. You will assist with the build of the proposed system and then undertake the execution of system testing, installation, integration, and commissioning.

Campbell Scientific projects range in scope, complexity and sizes and are delivered to a global customer base. You will be working with internal and external partners to execute and maintain efficient and robust software deployment architectures.

**It is expected that within this role, the DevOps will undertake the following duties**:

- Collaborate with development and project teams to establish DevOps practices that improve deployment frequency and reliability.
- Manage and maintain the deployment infrastructure, including cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the development and deployment environments. Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure and architectural challenges.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement within the DevOps domain.
- Contribute to the technical design for a project and ensure design meets the project remit and stakeholder expectations.
- Attend meetings with clients and customers at all scheduled miles stones and project meetings.
- Collaborate closely and maintain strong working relationships with the software delivery team peers in the local and regional offices. Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Assist with the identification of and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
- Maintain an excellent working knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
- Undertake travel away on Company business when required. Campbell scientific projects are global, so there is no geographic restriction on travel. Travel, when allowed could be up to 20% of your time.
- To document activities following company procedures and using company systems.
- Any other duties as required by the company commensurate with the role and required skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Formal education to B.Sc or M1/M2 degree standard in either an engineering or computing science
- Industry recognized DevOps certifications e.g., AWS certified DevOps Engineer
- French and\or English language skills. Able to write and converse in the language as well as translate from and to English.
- Experienced DevOps with a portfolio of experience in the aviation, environmental or renewables industries.
- Ability to design provision and manage ecosystems on-premises or in the cloud.
- Experience with one or more configuration management tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker Swarm and Kubernetes)
- Configure and deploy CI/CD tools to automate the process of building, testing, and deploying software based on distributed version control such as BitBucket, Github, etc.
- Experienced in specific IT domains such as operating system, computer hardware, network systems.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally when required.
