**About the role**:

The Innovation Division has 6,000 employees worldwide dedicated to research and innovation, including 740 researchers. With a global vision and a wide range of profiles (researchers, engineers, designers, developers, data scientists, sociologists, graphic designers, marketers, cybersecurity experts, etc.), the men and women of Innovation are ready to listen to and serve the countries, regions and business units to make Orange a trusted multi-service operator.
Within Innovation, you will be integrated into the Security department. Its teams are in charge of maintaining a high level of expertise in security for the Orange Group, particularly around infrastructures and services. The work of this team focuses more specifically on cloud computing security, intrusion detection/protection, strong authentication, cryptography, cyber security and personal data protection, particularly that of mobile network users (anonymization).

Your mission will be to develop AI tools capable of anonymising and interpreting this spatio-temporal mobility data from mobile network data. The anonymisation can be done by building anonymous spatio-temporal aggregates using the most appropriate methods (AI, deep learning, clustering based on similarity sensitive hash functions (geohash, LSH, DBH,...). Then the core of your mission will consist in designing an AI tool that will be able to analyse these aggregates to reconstruct mobility statistics on a more or less large scale that can be requested a posteriori for a specific purpose. For example, a tourist region that would like an a posteriori analysis of the evolution of its visitors' behaviour.

**About you**:
From a technical point of view, they should have good skills in deep learning techniques. In the post-doc it is envisaged to use sequence processing algorithms (lstm, transform) for data pre-processing. The use of advanced clustering algorithms such as DeepDPM which allow to realize clusters without having to specify their numbers. And finally diffusion-based methods for data generation.
If possible, they should already have some knowledge or experience of similarity-sensitive hash functions. Advantageously, they should have additional knowledge in BigData processing (map-reduce, Hadoop, Spark...). Knowledge of differential privacy is a plus.

**Additional information**:
The post-doc's research activity will be directly linked to Orange's operational needs. The post-doc may therefore be required to collaborate with production teams.

Within Innovation, you will be part of a research team at the forefront of innovation and expertise within the Security department. Its teams are responsible for maintaining a high level of expertise in security for the Orange Group, particularly around infrastructures and services. The post-doc's team deals more specifically with the protection of personal data. It is based at the Orange Innovation site in Caen.
