- Within Corporate functions, ArcelorMittal Treasury is the central treasury of the Group, acting as the internal bank of the Group, facing financial markets to deal with all Corporate Finance and price risk management matters. Scope of assets under management, number of subsidiaries managed by Treasury and structure of the cash pooling make AM Treasury one of the most elaborate and sophisticated corporate treasuries. _
- _Assure market quotations to full Group in Commodities, mainly base metals, bulks, freight and other underlying related to the steel business. _
- _Ensure on a day-to-day basis full support and back up to Front Office department for presentations or derivatives operations. _
- _Manage net exposure in accordance to Front-Office procedures and within specific limits to limit volatility and optimize Group treasury and assets (personal P&L target to be achieved), _
- _Use expertise to optimize Group’s physical commodities assets and ensure its added value creation. _
- _Develop proprietary trading analysis/strategy in different assets & execute it across a variety of commodities and products (Based Metals/ Iron Ore/ Freight/ ) _
- _Negotiate financial instruments with external counterparts to the best interest of the company _
- _Represent ArcelorMittal in the financial community to ensure a favorable image for the company _
- _Produce accurate, periodic financial market information over different commodities the Group is exposed to. _
- _Ensure active watch on markets of potential interest for the Group to ensure knowledge and optimization of risk management _
- _Assist in preparation of reports and presentations when required by Management. _
- _Analyze external proposals and provide feedback to Management for decision making _
- _Interact and assist on the integration and capture of synergies between financial market and physical market. _
- _Be able to participate actively together with our quantitative team, on data-driven market models developing, with good understanding over coding. _
- Fluent English is a must and good knowledge of French would be desirable. Adaptability skills in a very versatile environment, open to international culture, motivated, dynamic, and inquisitive, strong interest in trading & financial markets, risk taker, market knowledge and specially team spirit _
- Daily interaction with Europe (France, Luxembourg), Americas (USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico..), Asia (China and India)_
