**ABOUT IÉSEG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT**
**ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT**
The Operations Management department consists of around 20 members who teach and conduct research in the areas of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management, Project Management, Product Development and Revenue Management. Our diverse body of permanent professors have recently published articles in in top-tier refereed international journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Production and Operations Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of the Operational Research Society and Expert Systems with Application, among other. In addition to their research output, our professors have secured competitive research funding and grants across multiple areas. **ABOUT THE POSITION**
The appointment is for **12 months** starting in **September 2025**in** Lille**(on the campus of IÉSEG School of Management), with the possibility of one 6-month extension. Gross salary will be competitive with other European research and academic institutions.
- hold a PhD in operations research/ management, computer sciences, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have a solid research background in empirical research and/or mathematical programming, and an ability to deal with large datasets
- have a proven research track record, and experience in empirical research and/or developing analytical models in past research projects.
- Excellent programming skills (e.g., Stata/Python/Matlab/R).
- Be fluent in English.
Professional experience and knowledge of French are a plus, but not a requirement.

**ABOUT LILLE ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT (LEM - CNRS)**
LEM is a research unit associating the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), the University of Lille and IÉSEG School of Management. It comprises about 180 researchers and 80 doctoral students in economics and management whose research is multi-disciplinary and focused on societal issues. LEM is a young, internationally oriented, and dynamic laboratory with a strong scientific ambition.
