**About the Role**

REPORTING TO DIRECTOR OF VALUATIONS, FRANCE
- Assist Valuation Team Europe sourcing items for sale via valuations for sale purposes, formal valuations for Estates and Insurance, valuation days, events, etc.
- Be the department’s experienced user of Bonhams auction and valuation database (A3), producing valuations with information provided by our valuation team and specialists.
- Liaise effectively with the specialist departments based either in Paris, London or other locations.
- Oversee the handling of deliveries and collections and coordinate the communication between the various stakeholders( France, UK, Europe)
- Build, manage and maintain Bonhams database of clients in the region
- Provide general admin support to the team as requiredProvide excellent customer relations with new and existing clients

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Genuine interest for and knowledge of Fine Arts and the Auction world
- Excellent time keeping, people skills and organisational skills
- Flexibility and the ability to be a team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with both internal and external stakeholders
- Desire to learn and challenge yourself
- Excellent word processing skills, knowledge of MS Word and Excel, familiar with IT systems
- Fluent French and English, an additional European language is a plusAbility to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and priorities in a fast-moving environment
