**Purpose**:
The **Supply Chain Manager** is responsible for evaluating and planning production needs based on forecasts, orders, and stock variations to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a maternity cover position, offering a unique opportunity to temporarily join our dynamic supply chain team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Supply Chain Manager will develop and manage production orders to meet demand. They will organise and control the movement of materials and products, making sure everything runs smoothly.

They will optimise the flow of products and information in the supply chain and ensure production timelines are met. They will also oversee stock management to keep inventory at the right levels.

In this role, the manager will regularly adjust schedules to handle unexpected changes. They will help choose suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers, making sure they meet quality standards. They will also check that delivered equipment meets compliance standards.

The manager will analyse current purchasing and supply procedures to find areas for improvement and manage the administrative side of supplier orders. They will take part in recruitment interviews and decisions with senior management and Human Resources.

Leading and motivating the purchasing and logistics teams to reach department goals is important. The manager will also work on improving working conditions for the team. Additionally, they will keep stock levels optimal and plan long-term needs based on sales forecasts and existing inventory.

**Scope of Responsibilities**:
The Supply Chain Manager will make sure there is always enough supply to avoid stock shortages while keeping costs low. They will manage logistics flows efficiently, ensuring that social, health, safety, and environmental rules are followed, and that costs and delivery times are kept to a minimum. You will ideally have experience using SAP.
