At Research level, in parallel of tackling the future of food in several ways & paths, we are coming into the game of identifying the new materials to design & create the most safe, functional, and sustainable packagings.

Our new challenge will be, in collaboration with internal teams and external ecosystems, to invent & develop new packaging solutions for the existing ranges and new products to hit these exciting goals.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Establish the scientific strategy to address the technical challenges related to packaging = playful, convenient, regenerative
- Develop a packaging materials scientific and technical competitive watch
- Manage and lead multiple research projects: define and coordinate the technical plans, create prototypes, manage timelines, provide effective communication and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with multiple cross functional stakeholders to deliver building blocks to bring the winning packaging solutions to life
- Communicate to business partners progresses, opportunities & risks on active projects and influence decisions.
- Contribute to build and maintain relationships with internal and external networks (e.g., suppliers, packaging schools, start-ups, external packaging organizations).
- Nurture connections within the packaging community, to share knowledge, exchange on technical challenges and contribute to the global pack group strategy.

**Skills/Experiences**:

- Bachelor's Degree in packaging - mechanical engineering, or relevant engineering discipline.
- PhD in polymers chemistry or material sciences
- Deep scientific knowledge in chemistry and physical properties of materials
- Demonstrated ability to lead new packaging ideation, development interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
- 6- 10years of experience.
- Experience with quality and regulatory considerations and practices.
- Consumer-First thinking; experience with design thinking practices is a plus.
- Solid judgement, effective experimentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English and French fluent
