Position:
There is an open position for an Instrumentation & Monitoring Data Manager locally based in Parramatta - NSW, to manage the geotechnical, deformation and environmental data of a major infrastructure construction in the area. This person will work within the contractor project team in the Paramatta office under the supervision of the Project Manager. The duration of the project is 4+ years but the position is a permanent one with potential further assignment(s) in Australia, New Zealand or overseas. Essential tasks:
Configure the Measurement & Instrumentation Management System (MIMS -Beyond Monitoring) to upload & display monitoring data as per installation of the instrument
Create views, graphs, reports, alarmsas per project needs.
Train the client to the use of the platform effectively and to satisfaction.
Work closely with the project manager, the people on the field and the client to guarantee smooth communication and timely delivery.
Occasionally help on the installation of instrumentation on the field.
Liaise with the MIMS Product Manager to provide return of experience and client request/priorities to further enhance the quality/suitability of the platform.
This is an office-based role with episodic/potential site interventions.
Good computer skills: Training on Sixense MIMS software will be provided.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Rigorous and data processing/analysis capabilities to produce reports.
Can work independently, unsupervised and show initiative.
Eligible to work unrestricted in Australia
