Following our International Finance department expansion, Mindray France is searching for a Country Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the finance and accounting team in our French subsidiary of Mindray

**Key Responsibilities**

**Financial Accounting**
- Preparation of the full set of accounting books and related accounting affairs.
- Preparation of financial reporting and monthly reconciliations.(Closing of month end 2.5 days).
- Maintains accounting practices to ensure data necessary for business operations is accurate and reliable.
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring accounts are correctly represented and in line with reporting standards.
- Assisting with the audit process and preparing reports (accounting and tax) that comply with local statutory requirements assisted by PWC.
- First level review from FR AP Assistant Ad-Hoc inventory checks and support on counts.
- Undertake monthly revenue recognition checks.
- Preparation and posting of journals (manual & using GLSU).
- Review of General Ledgers and reclassifications and cleaning as required.
- Review accruals, prepayments and fixed assets as prepared by FR Accounts Assistant.
- Support FR AR Assistant with credit control/accounts payable/concur and other tasks where
- necessary. Second level of review of Concur expenses & invoices.
- Portal approvals for vendor creation and credit memos/RMA
- Assist FR Accounting & Tax Manager with delegated elements of ad hoc reporting/management
- reporting/project work and explanations as required.

**Taxes & Compliance**
- Review of General Ledger postings to ensure correct VAT tax flags are used.
- First level review from FR Accounts Assistant of Country specific VAT and EC Intra community returns and ensuring compliance with VAT reporting guidelines.
- Preparation of Company car benefits in kind.
- Preparation of French Tax preparations and calculations.
- Assist FR Accounting & Tax Manager with delegated elements

**What are we looking for in you?**
- A relevant Accounting or Business qualification with strong previous experience in an accounting
- role. (BAC +2/3)
- Experience of supporting annual audits and legal filings.
- Knowledge and professional experience of SAP.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in French with good business English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in Europe & UK without requiring sponsorship
