**Job Description**:

Join BIC Corporation as the VP of IT for one of our most core business functions, Global Group Supply Chain Operations. This encompasses direct oversight for Integrated Business Planning (Demand, Supply & Production Scheduling); Manufacturing Execution Systems; Warehousing & Distribution; and Procurement. In this role you will have a team of senior level, internal IT professionals, consultants and vendors reporting to you.

Responsibilities and Duties

**GLOBAL GROUP SUPPLY CHAIN (GSC) IT DELIVERY (APPLICATION SOLUTIONS, DEMAND MANAGEMENT AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT)**
- Single point of contact for Group Supply Chain Leaders & Stakeholders to Group IT;
- Leads the development of strategic approaches & functional design of IT solutions for GSC;
- Manages business requirements and helps prioritizing investments based on business benefits, IT and business constraints as well as Group IT Strategy and its imperatives;
- Oversees all IT Delivery activities for GSC Operations globally - from ideation through to successful deployment - including approval steps and progress reporting for delivery projects and other functional, technical and governance topics;
- Foresees new business functionality based on business strategy and on opportunities from market trends and emerging technologies.

**IT STRATEGY & OPERATIONS**
- Represents IT at GSC Leadership Team Forums and appropriate functional governance boards;
- Represents & Champions GSC Operations and needs in IT Governance & Leader meetings;
- Communicates and implements the long-term GSC IT vision, roadmaps and plans according to Group IT standards;
- Champions strategic approaches to the digitization of activities and analytics needs for GSC Operations;
- Understands and collects business needs & enhancement opportunities for Group IT services for setting and improving service levels, based on feedback received in monitoring business satisfaction for Group Supply Chain Operations;
- Implements, animates and pro-actively adopts the IT governance processes and operating model;
**PEOPLE MANAGEMENT**
- Assess staffing needs and determine how many employees (internal or external) are needed to meet delivery & support commitments in conjunction with team members and GSC IT people managers;
- Supervise & develop staff via regular interaction and formal written evaluations to determine how well they’re fulfilling their job and whether they’re meeting company standards for professionalism, attendance, work performance and personal / professional development;
- Interview and hire staff, contractors or outside providers and provide them with any new hire and orientation paperwork in accordance with company policies.
- Process employee leave and vacation requests for maternity leave and other types of work leave, including vacation and personal day requests;
- Manage employee relations listening to problems employees have with coworkers and managers, and file complaints as needed with upper-level management.
- Manage Performance Improvement process (& terminate where adequate improvements not generated) employees who fail to meet minimum company standards in any area on a consistent basis;
- Advise upper management on policy issues concerning sexual harassment, employee relations, and other staff matters.

**IT INNOVATION**
- Be the reference point for IT Innovation for GSC Operations;
- Through market exploration promotes relevant innovation to business in alignment with GSC needs as collected from and foreseen by the business;
- Supports team knowledge acquisition via conferences or training to enable BIC to leverage new digital technologies or to propose innovative solutions enabling business objectives;
- Liaises with Group IT Delivery BRM’s to discoverer share details of new solutions and processes;
