**ROLE SUMMARY**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**

As a key member of the Western Europe Area Information Digital Technology team, you will lead the analysis, implementation, and deployment of Digital Technologies, delivering innovative end-to-end multi-channel strategies for the constantly evolving consumer and customer ecosystem. You will function as a crucial link between Business Functions and Technology, consulting with business functions, to translate their vision into technology solutions aligned with business goals. You will also be responsible for all IT services delivered to five corporate offices, maintaining high availability of on-site services, handling several outsourced partners, and holding suppliers to key performance indicators and SLAs. You will be the final level for blocking issues for users and be familiar with ITIL methodology.

**What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?**

This role will play a key part in delivering the DRBU Strategic Leadership Agenda and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all IT services into the corporate offices.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Digital Technology & Strategy**

You will propose, drive, and implement a technological roadmap to support the business strategy.
- You will collaborate with key collaborators to make sure the technology strategy addresses their needs and objectives.
- You will continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to find opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- You must understand Marketing Traditional Channels, D2C Digital Channels, and their Omnichannel opportunities, as well as data analytics and insight knowledge.
- You will constantly strive to develop new innovations and technology to bring value to the DRBU and provide thought leadership for adoption where appropriate.

**Supplier Management**
- Identify and partner with the right technology suppliers and specialists to increase business results.
- Map the portfolio of suppliers with the relevant capabilities to deliver the marketing portfolio according to BAT’s procurement & security standards.
- Lead a multi-disciplined technical team of suppliers.

**Budget Management**
- Deep appreciation of IT budgeting process, ability to lead IT TCO, aligned with current planning and reporting structure.
- Maintain IT budget for WE Cluster, working with regional and global finance to ensure the budget in within agreed thresholds.

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Responsible for delivery of the functional portfolio, guaranteeing accomplishment of goals, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and alignment with global structures.
- Effectively communicate the status of the functional portfolio to business partners. Regularly review agreed-upon functional key performance indicators, including return on investment, suggest improvements, and seize opportunities.
- Proactively share knowledge and expertise, be the source of information and engagement on the latest trends, Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Ability to produce technical communications and system manuals in both French and English

**People & Process Management**
- Drive or participate in project teams, ensuring productivity by resolving issues.
- Handle your own performance, development, and career.
- Ensure IT services are efficient, reliable, accessible, secure, and cost-effective while delivering exceptional customer service and driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain IT business continuity and risk management, working closely with the IT security team to ensure compliance.
- You will be named contact for VIP escalations, flexible with working hours, and work alongside global project teams.
- Host regular service reviews with key suppliers, work with procurement for onboarding new suppliers, and participate in RFPs.
- Proactively research innovative technology to improve user experience, create and distribute user communications, and be an advocate for change. You will deputise for the UK
