**The team you'll be part of**

5G Tribe in Paris-Saclay (~330 people) among several R&D Tribes in different countries, in charge of feature development for NOKIA 5G Radio base stations (gNB), that are meant to be delivered to worldwide customers. You are part of Research and Development 5G Software team, responsible for developing software functionalities for the Nokia 5G base stations, ready to be delivered to customers all over the world.

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Develop software functionalities in base station product. Debug and fix product defects detected by testing teams and customers.

As part of our team, you will:

- implement gNB functionalities to make 5G faster, more performing and reliable
- continuously search for efficiency improvements
- provide support to integration camps, interoperability camps and other customer deployments
- be involved in the complete development cycle (specifications, coding, code reviews, testing)
- contribute to product quality improvements via code reviews, static analysis tool debugging, code refactoring, etc
- contribute to implementing functionalities in the different programs required in the Design cycle (test launching infrastructure, system component test framework)
- be responsible for performance impacts and continuous integration stability of one’s code

**Your skills and experience**

You have skills on:

- Telecommunications and/or programming domain, 0 to 5 years’ experience in software development, in telecommunications domain or in embedded systems domain: C++, object oriented and latest C++ standards.
- Agile Scrum method, wireless technology (3G, 4G, 5G)
- Effective communication and easiness to work in an international setting
- Innovative technologies and eagerness to share creativity
- Fluent English

It would be nice if you also had:

- Knowledge on Git/Gerrit configuration control tooling
- Working knowledge on Continuous Integration mechanisms (Jenkins, Zuul, etc)
- Communication and presentation skills
