System Administrator

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Administer and maintain server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and protect against unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to support network infrastructure and resolve connectivity issues.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements or upgrades.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in an IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical staff.
