**Our Faurecia Interior Systems** business is looking for a **Plant ME Manager (M/F)** for its plant based in** Etupes**, specifically for its TRECIA entity.
The Etupes site, an expert in plastic parts injection for the automotive industry and door panel assembly, employs approximately 230 employees (registered staff and temporary workers).
We deliver our door panels just-in-time (short synchronous) as well as parts manufactured on-site for internal and external customers. The site is engaged in an automation and digitalization approach, with examples such as the use of AGVs (automated guided vehicles), auto-clipping robots, etc. You will work on challenges that matter.
Your mission, role, and responsibilities: We are looking for a** Plant Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Manager (M/F)**(Methods - Maintenance) to join our teams The role of the Plant Manufacturing Engineering Manager is to manage the Methods and Maintenance processes and teams to ensure series production compliance with customer demand, provide necessary support for the continuous improvement process, and ensure the plant is ready for program launches and contributes to their success.
**Your mission, roles and responsibilities**:
**Main missions**:
Ensure series production compliance with customer demand
- Provide equipment that meets safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Monitor tooling
- Update standards
- Organize and contribute to change management, lead time reduction, and technical planning
- Update manufacturing routines and nomenclatures
- Maintain processes (machines, tools, procedures) at the highest possible level in compliance with HSE regulations and QCD
- Build the engineering budget and plant Capex and ensure their implementation
- Manage central plant maintenance
- Manage key Methods and Maintenance indicators (TRS: tool changes, cycle time, reliability, energy consumption, air, water, etc.)
- Control and manage machine load
- Maintain plant scheduling
- Coordinate, schedule, and control the work of external companies considering technical, quality, deadline, and cost requirements
- Budget investments and handle investment processing, planning other costs
- Be responsible for the use and maintenance of the department's fixed assets
- Create and introduce procedures for tasks within their area of responsibility
- Contribute to problem-solving initiatives
- Participate in the plant's production plan (PDP)
Contribute to the continuous improvement process regarding workforce, quality, machines, space, working conditions / ergonomics
safety & environment.
Prepare the plant for successful program launches:
- Participate in defining the production process and selecting machines and equipment
- Schedule the plant to support new product launches in compliance with the plant's MIFA
- Lead the process of setting up new machines and equipment
- Support production during the start-up of new processes to achieve DMS (initial samples, full-speed days, standardized work sheets)
Manage teams:
- Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop the plant ME team (hierarchical or functional)
- Support and train other networks and functions
- Actively participate in managing the expert network (knowledge capitalization)
- Advise the site director on ME aspects
- Respect and enforce HSE instructions and guidelines, and take necessary measures in case of deviations
Manage series life:
- Manage ECRs on-site.
**Your profile and competencies to succeed**:
- Engineering degree with at least 5 years of professional experience in the automotive sector and a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Skills in innovation management and change management.
- Ability to work with colleagues at all levels and establish a network within a matrix organization.
- Knowledge of equipment safety regulations.
- Process-oriented.
- Both fluent English & French required.
