**Description**

**Management of new product development**
- Responsible to design the mechanical / mechatronic components for future brake products.
- Realise and/or supervise all necessary technical justifications (analytical calculation, simulation, tolerance analysis) and related synthesis (design reviews) to ensure proper design release at each development phase.
- Interface with system / hardware / software teams to ensure design to requirements.
- Follow the pilot project and bring the components he’s in charge of until 1st serial production.
- Contribute to new ideas and patents generation.

**Supervision and coordination of drawing, testing and industrial feasibility**
- Supervise the draftsman activity and drawings content.
- Animate simultaneous engineering activities with suppliers, Hitachi’s manufacturing center and plant(s) to ensure industrial feasibility of the product.
- Coordinate and follow the testing activities with the validation department.
- Ensures technical deliverables on time / on spec according to Hitachi’s innovation and platform development processes
