Synopsys is looking for a motivated individual to work in our Silicon Lifecycle Analytics Operations team. As Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in designing and developing programmatic infrastructure and automation to build, maintain and improve the Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design, deploy and maintain public cloud and private infrastructure to support Synopsys SaaS offerings
- Automate - as much as possible - all technical operations
- Set up monitoring, logging and tracing tools to detect and fix any potential issues
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- BS in Computer Science/Information Technology. MS is preferred
- Typically requires 2+ years of experience in software engineering, operations engineering or similar discipline
- Good communication skills, ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in English
**Technical background**:
- Solid knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker
- Significant experience with infrastructure as code tools (Kustomize, Kubespray, Terraform, Ansible...)
- Experience with GitOps tools (Flux or ArgoCD)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of one or more languages (Python, Go, Perl, Java...)
- Experience building scalable infrastructure in one public cloud provider is a distinct advantage
- Knowledge in Jenkins or similar tool for CI/CD is an advantage
