Internship Description

Firesquid is looking for a digital marketing assistant to join our fast-growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in the video game industry and gain exposure to various aspects of marketing. As a digital marketing assistant, you will be integrated into the marketing department to help in the daily management of Firesquid's game portfolio, from signature to release. A significant part of your mission will be to assist in the creation of impactful ad campaigns that resonate with our audiences.

You won't be tackling the challenges solo. At Firesquid, we ensure our interns receive the support they need and are never left to fend for themselves. We are committed to mentoring and guiding our team members as they contribute to our projects.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to see both sides of the industry : you'll work mainly for Firesquid, our indie strategy games publisher, and from time to time for its sister company, Lightbulb Crew, the development studio behind Othercide.

We are looking for someone who will:

- Help to conduct market research
- Contribute, maintain and execute integrated Go to Market plans across traditional and emerging channels, using all marketing levers
- Help in the tracking and reporting of data, from store pages
- Assist with the development of game assets (trailers, store page, screenshots...)
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices

The ideal person for the job has/is:

- An educational background focused on digital marketing
- Good knowledge of the Adobe suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
- Good communication skills (not afraid to speak publicly)
- Good writing skills
- Eager to collaborate, proactive, and ready to learn.
- A strong interest in the video game industry, especially in strategy games.
- Data-driven & pays attention to details
Fluent in English (mandatory)

Bonus points:

- Previous professional experience in the video game industry / entertainment industry
- Knowledge of Gsuite and especially Gsheet (basic function VLOOKUP / Pivot table)
- Digital PC store page management (Steam, Epic Game Store)
- Knowledge in advertisement on Social media

Additional Information

Contract : Internship only (6 months min)

Location : 157 Boulevard MacDonald, 75019, Paris, remote or hybrid

Wage : Minimum 514 euros a month - negotiable depending on the profile
