Within Corporate functions, ArcelorMittal Treasury is the central treasury of the Group, acting as the internal bank of the Group, facing financial markets to deal with all Corporate Finance and price risk management matters. Scope of assets under management, number of subsidiaries managed by Treasury and structure of the cash pooling make AM Treasury one of the most elaborate and sophisticated corporate treasuries.

Within the Financial Risk Management Department, Energy trading team is in charge of worldwide Natural Gas, Electricity, Carbon market price risk management with a yearly spend of ~$10bn.

Amid challenging energy market environment, the Energy trader will be responsible for a wide array of topics among which:

- Portfolio Management for energy positions (Brent, Carbon, Power, Gas)
- Prepare hedging strategy for internal stakeholders and/or ArcelorMittal management
- Ensure daily continuity of the desk to respond to any request from internal stakeholders and/or market moves
- Ensure proper physical and financial trading activities of the desk and use of full range of market instruments
- Ensure through on-duty requirements, a proper management of Energy price risks for internal stakeholders
- Ensure optimization of assets management in accordance with ArcelorMittal Financial Risk Management Framework to manage Group volatility risk
- Prepare analysis on financial market aiming to identify risk areas and/or potential opportunities for Group benefit, and recommend measures or strategies to be implemented
- Ensure a favorable institutional image for the company and develop best in class concept in financial community

Position based in Luxemburg.

PROFIL REQUIS

**Profile**:

- Master 2 level
- More than 2 years of experience in purchasing and/or energy management in different markets in Europe.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as fellow team members at all levels.
- Curious and attracted to energy markets. Natural seeker of optimization opportunities
- Able to make timely decisions and provide direction in accordance with business needs and objectives
- Able to communicate effectively (both in written and verbal form), at all levels of the organization
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally within a multi-cultural environment
- Languages: Fluent English and French
