**Job summary**
purpose of the role You contribute to the flow from purchase to delivery to customer or own warehouses in managing the transport planning in a most profitable way by respecting the requirements of the customer and the safety standards.
Customer needs drive your activities and you balance them with the interests of the company. Within the team you will be reporting into the LogisticsManager or Team Lead / Supply Chain Manager.
**Responsibilities & duties**:
- Manage incoming transport orders
- Plan and book import-,export-and domestic shipments, efficient routes, maximising vehicle utilisation
- Handle administrative tasks such as all relevant information and paperwork for the delivery, transport invoices, complaints, customs legislation and documentationand pricing matters
- KPI analysis
- Negotiate price for single shipments when agreed with manager
- Successfully cooperate with all internal functions as well as external contacts and provide any necessary information to all shareholders
- Contribute to the improvement of the quality of the transport service
- Comply with all Quality procedures and safety notices

**Qualifications & skills**
Minimum education: Upper Secondary School. Bachelor degree in logistics or equivalent is a preference
Relevant working experience and understanding of working in an international environment, previous experience within transport and logistics advantageousas well as knowledge of planning software
Knowledge of Driver and Vehicle legislation and geographical knowledge is an advantage
Good knowledge in MS Office, knowledge in SAP is an asset
Good skills in local language and fluent skills in English
You are proactive, reliable and service minded and able to work focused under pressure
A team player with the ability to work independently within given framework
You have good planning and analytical skillsKey competencies and behaviors Result oriented
