**Diveintar Marine** is recruiting for our client, a french shipping company, a **Technical Expert 2 strokes M/F.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
- Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
- Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
- Provide expertise support for the 2 strokes engines to the fleet management and ships;
- Propose solutions to optimize vessels’ maintenance, design and operation;
- Ensure technical communication outside the company to promote its technical skills.

Note: You may represent the Company in various meetings, conferences, public institutions, etc;
- Closely work with R&D department of our suppliers for improvement;
- Accumulate and share the experience across the fleets;
- Prepare information and feedbacks to the fleets;
- Know the supplier network and establish a good relation between societies;
- Establish medium and long term strategy;
**SKILLS REQUIRED**

Expert knowledge For 2 strokes engines required
- Fluent in English;
- Master’s degree in engineering;
- Management or Project management skills;
- Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc;
Experience

3 to 5 years’ experience as 2nd Engineer/Chief Engineer or in fleet management.

- Technical environment knowledge
- Analytical skills;
- Effective verbal, written and presentation skills;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.

Permanent contract based in Marseille.
Salary wage: from 60KE up to 80KE
