Managing the External Communications Roadmap and all activities including corporate, solutions and products launches, innovation, media relations, reputation, leadership communication, partnerships, and alliances. Your unit owns the entire external communication strategy and execution, including messaging and guidelines for clusters working with the international coordination to synchronize global and local roadmaps. You control the flow of information between the organization and the public. Along with the management of the external communications team, you define strategies, direct public relations approach and are the face of the company for media. The position comes with great responsibility, as your role is accountable for public perception of our company. Managing this perception involves developing influence and communication strategies, understanding the importance of timing and setting, responding to crises and setbacks, overseeing a team of diverse communications roles and ensuring that information released is consistent with the strategy at large. You collaborate with the other teams of the Vertical Unit Brand & Communications (the Brand team, the Social Media team, the Event teametc.) to ensure the proper understanding and dissemination of key corporate messages and develop communication supports specific in order to exert influence communication with all of our audiences at OVHcloud. **#Responsibilities**: - Defend, Analyze, and track reputation as well as crisis management and preemptive planning. - Guarantee, in conjunction with all the relevant departments the respect of the communication strategy and consistency of the brand's commitment, define the associated communication toolkit, trainings, education and manage any associated communication survey, study to improve existing assets. - Advise the subsidiaries by helping them to integrate group messages into the construction of their local communication plans. - Contribute to the selection, management, and evaluation of external communication service providers, in close collaboration with the purchasing department. Create a culture of sharing between the team members and the broader business and enable the implementation of best in-class practices. - Participate in cross-group discussions (regulatory, corporate communication, Industry, ESG Sustainability, Sovereignty, etc.) - Manage a high-performing Public Relations team and support their personalised development plans. Create a culture of sharing between the team members and the broader business/ regions. **#Skills Required**: - 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar position, leading expertise in corporate communication and having managed a team - As a gatekeeper to the company's reputation, you will play a key role within the crisis management team and lead the crisis communications process along with our operation champions. Therefore, a strong background in managing sensitive topics, confidential information and designing the most relevant tactics and deliverables is mandatory to meet this position's requirements. Maintaining an awareness of company risks and threats. - Mid-term vision on how to grow and develop the communication strategy globally by educating and supporting our clusters in this journey - Drive knowledge of OVHcloud's technological environment (general "tech", digital culture) and of opinion leaders in France and internationally (journalists, PR agencies..) - Personal impact and strong leadership skills, with proven ability of building beneficial relationships with stakeholders at all levels. - Trusted team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within a global organization.
