**The Role**
Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs (CLA) for the France Benelux Cluster, the **Senior Corporate Affairs Manager (H/F)** is responsible for defining and implementing the national strategy to promote the interests of Imperial Brands Seita Corporate Affairs agenda across regulatory, political, and media landscapes. This role also involves managing the budget and overseeing the Public Affairs and External Communication team, which consists of three specialised roles.
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Define the public affairs and external communication strategy in collaboration with the CLA Director, setting priorities, and developing an action plan for each of the group's strategic areas.
- Monitor political, regulatory, and media developments, disseminating key information to anticipate sector changes and coordinating reporting with the IMB Group and local teams.
- Oversee the implementation of action plans in coordination with the CORA team, focusing on areas such as combustibles, next-generation products, and combating illicit trade.
- Manage and develop an institutional and media network, maintaining strong relationships with key institutional stakeholders, and actively participating in national meetings.
- Optimise the use of the CORA budget by managing assignments to partner agencies and adhering to budget constraints while investing in relevant tools.
- Lead and develop the Public Affairs and External Communication team, ensuring alignment of goals, developing team skills, and monitoring results.
**Skills and Experience Required**
- Degree: Master’s in political science or law.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in public affairs, preferably within a corporate or professional organisation setting.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Leadership skills, diplomacy, and the ability to manage complex situations, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of political and administrative networks, and familiarity with regulated sectors would be an advantage.
