**About the job **
Innovation is a core mission at hestiia. We are looking for a motivated and experienced engineer to join our team, and more precisely, to take on the role of Head of Lab In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Lab and participate in the design of products, manufacture them and test them.
**We are an agile company.**
This means you will be working in strong integrated partnership with other engineering functions.
**Your missions will cover 3 areas**:
- Design / mechanical development within the research department
- Execution on the machines / Operational run
- Project management around the organization of the fablab
On a daily basis, you could do:
- Mechanical design (CAD/CAM): work within the engineers on our products
- Manufacturing of prototypes in our fablab while insuring the quality
- Carry out test benches and tests for the characterization of parts
- Ensure the proper functioning of the fablab (definition of operating rules, processes, suppliers)
**About you**
- You want to join an exciting entrepreneurial adventure
- You have a perfect knowledge of CAD and CAM software such as Solidworks, Catia V5 ou Autodesk fusion 360
- You are proficient in sheet metal bending and 3-axis machining, but alos have knowledge of machine code (G-code, M-code)
- You have an excellent understanding of manufacturing processes
- Organisation and rigor define you
- As a true maker, you love to get things done
- It would be a plus if you know how to do wiring, have notions in electronics and/or Linux code
