Job title of the line manager: Regional Director / Plant Manager Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To coordinate an improvement program designed to facilitate health, safety and environment policy implementation within their scope of responsibility. To help and support the HSE staff for whom they have line management responsibility.

Objective and mission

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

- Advise and support site operations HSE staff with preparing operating and investment budgets, and implementing the Group Health, Safety & Environment policy (implementation of tools, maintenance of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 certifications, compliance reviews, etc.)
- Define and ensure the progress of the HSE roadmap for your scope of responsibility
- Define and propose the Regional HSE budget and resource adequacy
- Manage team workload capacity
- Support team members in developing their skills and abilities, and anticipating work-related risks and hazards
- Provide individual support for site HSE staff & managers to help them develop their HSE culture
- Lead and coordinate operations teams, and provide HSE improvement program information within your scope of responsibility (SR3, monthly HSE reviews, etc.)
- Support the teams in analyzing malfunctions, non-conformities and incidents within the scope of your responsibility
- Provide sites with advice and support around accident investigation and cause identification as part of designing and coordinating the associated HSE improvement programs
- Take full responsibility for the management system, and therefore ensure the integration, monitoring and updating of HSE issues within the Integrated Management System
- Analyze the degree to which the company's activities comply with regulations and other applicable internal and external requirements
- Integrate HSE issues into regional development and capital expenditure studies (resources/processes)
- Monitor and consolidate the maintenance of the tools used to process and manage occupational accident/illness statistics and analyze regulatory compliance
- Consolidate the reporting of HSE results, management system and significant events
- Anticipate the needs of internal customers and external challenges
- Ensure continuity of the Operational HSE performance monitoring program with internal / external auditors
- Provide management within your own scope of responsibility as the HSE Specialist
- Supervise relationships with official bodies and specialist organizations (CSE / DIRECCTE/ DREAL, etc.)
- Conduct audits
- Implement tender invitations and monitor outcomes
- Represent your department in the context of manufacturing and logistics trade associations and stakeholders relevant to the surveys and projects for which you are responsible- Lead and manage a team, ensuring that employee skills are developed in line with business developments and the needs of the organization

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.

Aircraft Maintenance License issued by an approved PART 147 company

Education

Master, DEA, DESS, diplôme d'ingénieur (Bac+5): Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering
