**Within TECHNIP Energies, the Lyon center is referenced as the group's center of expertise in the field of Polyolefins. Specialized in Petrochemical, Chemical and Life Sciences, it also supports the development of innovative technologies in areas such as biotechnology or synthetic products and bio-sourced hydrocarbons. As you have understood, this center of more than 500 people responds to a diversity of engineering projects of various sizes (more than €400 million for certain projects) with a positioning on design projects very upstream and technically fulfilling for our engineers.**

**About your position**:
Within our expansion, we are looking for:
**Control and safety systems specialist F/M**

**Duties / Responsibilities**:
You report functionally to the Head of the Instrumentation department and operationally to the Instrumentation Lead Discipline.

Your main activities on projects are to:

- Define the philosophy for the design of Instrumented Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) such as architecture, control philosophy, safety requirements, maintenance,
- Write design and supply specifications for DCS, SIS and other connected systems (MMS, AMS,)
- Issue the process control narratives (sequences, interlocks, control loop), cause & effect matrix, logic diagrams,
- Attend to HAZOP reviews, prepare SIF, perform SIL calculations,
- Issue the ICSS requisition,
- Clarify and compare the technical bids,
- Perform the vendor documentation follow-up,
- Schedule, manage and attend to the FAT,
- Participate to commissioning activities on site,

**About you**:
Instrumentation Engineer, you justify a minimum experience of 10 years in control and safety systems for export projects in the petrochemical, chemical and gas sectors.

Your knowledge in pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing Execution Systems and revamping of obsolete systems would be appreciated.

Your skills: ability to adapt, practical mind and good relationship.

You are fluent in English and open to travel.
