Project Manager

Mott MacDonald France delivers, amongst other activities, project management services, including in Asset Management field, helping to plan sustainable investments in sectors as diverse as real estate, sports facilities, water treatment, airports, engineering structures, etc. As part of the strong development of this activity, we are looking for a Project Principal to strengthen the management of current and future projects, and to participate in the development of our digital tool "Smart Invest". The tool allows the simulation of long-term investment strategies, the results of which are visualised in performance analysis dashboards. Each investment strategy can then be evaluated and adjusted according to aspects of sustainability, economic performance, improvement of social and environmental indicators, control of the users’ safety, climate risks, etc. The position will include: - Directing or managing projects at every stage of their life: bidding, building a team composed of various technical expertise from the Mott MacDonald group, project execution and feedback phase - Guaranteeing the excellence delivered to clients, a fundamental value of Mott MacDonald, justifying its existence for over a century. To achieve this, the Project Principal will have a set of internal processes at his/her disposal, supporting project management in constant assessment of the risk level involved. - Being accountable for delivery according to schedule, quality, external and internal communication and financial monitoring. - Participation with the head of Asset Management in the continuous improvement of the Smart Invest tool, used to deliver the projects. - Assisting the head of Asset Management in business development activities, by prospecting new clients, following up existing clients, monitoring needs and preparing offers. - Supporting the other activities of the Paris office (Public sector advisory, Real Estate Project Management, Project Finance, etc.) according to needs and opportunities. - Proven experience in project management duties - Mastery of project management tools, in terms of planning and budget monitoring, project team management and customer relations - Interpersonal and writing skills expected - Fluency in French and English is essential - Knowledge of Python and PowerBI software tools would be a plus Personal skills and attributes: - You are rigorous and organized. - You have a sense of autonomy. - You are creative, curious, and flexible to contribute to a wide range of assignments, sometimes complex ones. - You can synthesize information. - You can prioritise and plan effectively while balancing competing demands. - You are confident to deal with areas and issues outwit immediate experience.
