Depixus® is a fast-growing venture-funded life science tools company, with over 50 staff based in both Paris and Cambridge, UK, bringing to market its award-winning MAGNA platform. This role presents a genuinely exciting and unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a talented and diverse multinational team at a key stage in the company’s evolution.

**Description**
We are seeking for a talented Patent Manager to support the development of the company. The position will be based in our Paris Office. Reporting directly to the company’s Chief Technology Officer, you would work closely with our R&D teams to ensure the protection of our innovations and products, through the further development of our IP portfolio.

**As a Patent Manager at Depixus, you will**:

- Monitor the current status of the Depixus IP portfolio and provide regular updates,
- Coordinate activities between Depixus and our IP attorney partners,
- Interact with project managers and the company’s R&D teams to identify inventions that may warrant protection
- Assist staff with drafting accompanying invention disclosures
- Act as the primary point of reference between Depixus and the company’s patent attorney firms for ongoing IP management,
- Inform and make recommendations to management
- Monitor regulatory watch and competitive intelligence
- Conduct freedom to operate studies related to the company’s products and innovations

**This role would suit you if you**:

- Have advandced degree in relevant technical field (molecular biology or engineering)
- Have at least 4-year minimum experience in the biotechnology/life science sector, either within industry or a patent attorney firm
- Detailed understanding of the patent and trademarking processes both in the EPO and USPTO
- CEIPI training
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Enjoy working in a dynamic start-up environment
