Role: Machine Learning Engineer; Location: HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland; Full-time (100%) employment

The person will report directly to the Head of R&D.

Are you passionate about solving one of the hardest challenges in medicine today with advanced machine learning methods?

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience building machine learning models in an academic or industrial setting. You should have a Ph.D. in computer science.

**Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. in computer science with a background both in machine learning and software development.
- Hands-on experience building machine learning models.
- Strong algorithm design and programming skills in Python.
- Knowledge of Pandas, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, NumPy, and TensorFlow.
- Practical experience in running machine learning methods on cloud-hosted GPUs.
- Proven experience solving interesting and meaningful real-world problems using principled techniques and practices.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with data (cleaning, visualization, and modeling) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of no SQL databases is a plus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the medical need, identify the key challenges, formulate the machine learning problem and provide/prototype solutions.
- Collaborate and brainstorm with other team members on advanced solutions for estimating blood pressure.
- Document the technical details of your work.

**Salary**: 60,000.00€ - 130,000.00€ per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Grenoble (38): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
