As a
**Corporate Development Associate**, you'll be part of shaping Qonto’s future, engaging directly in high-impact projects such as
**M&A** and
**fundraising**, as well as
**investor relations**. Your expertise in financial and data analysis will drive our decision-making process, fueling our future growth and performance.
You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate professionals from various departments—Finance, Legal, Strategy, and Growth—forming the backbone of our ambitious projects.
**As a Corporate Development Associate at Qonto, you will**
- Prepare strategic presentations, financial reporting, and investment memos to steer decision-making:
- Financial reporting to the management and board of investors, ensuring transparent communication;
- Detailed investor presentations that articulate the company’s business, operations, strategy, and results
- Play an active part in the company's corporate development projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and special projects:
- Evaluate and analyze acquisition or merger opportunities by producing complex financial models and incorporating in-depth financial analyses to assess viability and value creation potential for Qonto;
- Coordinate and conduct financial due diligence (including Q&A process), perform ad hoc financial analysis, including detailed performance modeling;
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and advisors
- Participate in structuring transactions, negotiating financial terms, and managing the financial aspects of deals (including sourcing and securing appropriate financing);
- Participate in business plan updates, drawing potential financial impacts from scenarios and sensibility analysis;

**About your future manager**
Your manager will be Baptiste, who is our Lead Corporate Development.
- **His path?** He has worked 5 years in TS and Capital Market advisory and is now leading the Finance Corporate Development team, and is looking for the next gem
- **What he can bring to the team?** Baptiste brings to the table a wide range of expertise. Recently he worked on a company-wide new business model assessment, participated in our latest acquisition post-merger financial integration, and his in charge of investor reportings. He has contributed to enhancing robustness and automation for multiple financial processes.
**About You**
- **Experience**: you have 3 to 6 years of experience in Transaction Services, M&A, FP&A, or controlling; ideally with previous experience working with fintech or SaaS model companies
- **Communication**: you have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and in a structured way
- **Mastery**: you are analytical, fully proficient in Excel, and strong strategic thinking. You know how to use data to build powerful insights and strategies
- **Languages**: you are fluent in English and another European language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish) is a definite plus**Perks**
