eMyosound develops an innovative medical device to diagnose heart failure using ultrasound.

As Verification & Validation Lead, you will be part of a collaborative team to ensure quality, safety & regulatory compliance for our medical device. You will be responsible for design Verification and Validation using manual and automated test methods and will be accountable for verification deliverables for the program.

Responsibilities include carrying out all the activities in the test life cycle such as planning, preparing and executing the Verification and Validation, driving automation, mentoring the test team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Verification and validation of systems, sub-systems, software using manual and automated test methods.
- Creation and execution of Verification and Validation plans, including coordinating efforts of test personnel inside and outside the Verification and Validation team.
- Strategizing and planning Verification activities independently/along with other leads.
- Managing and mentoring the test team to complete expected activities on time.
- Reviewing test procedures, test input documents and test results.
- Defining test setups and environment required for test execution.
- Documenting any design defects and publishing test reports, defect summary report, performing defect analysis, driving defects to closure.
- Development of the overall automation strategy, including automation plans and reports.
- Identifying and reporting any quality or compliance concerns and taking immediate corrective actions as required.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to medical device verification and validation.

**Profile**:
We are looking for an experienced professional (Bachelor, MSc) with 5+ years of experience in software and hardware testing.
- Experience in medical device design and manufacturing for active medical devices (hardware and software).
- Experience with US and EU (MDR) regulations.
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies and processes, including manual, automated, standards and compliance testing.
- Experience in building and automating end-to-end test scenarios and simulating device behaviors via tests.
- Experience in challenging the status quo and assumptions, and proposing new ideas.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English is a must have.
