Job Details

We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Controller joining our Group Financial Planning & Analysis team to take on the Controlling of the Corporate activities. Your role consists of providing support for decision-making, providing valuable insight to management when steering the group's performance.

The Corporate scope covers the Controlling, Reporting and Budgeting of the below activities managed at the Group level:

- Corporate Functions (HR, Finance, Legal, IT, etc)
- Group Financial Debt and Group Treasury operations (Hedging, Guarantees, etc)
- Group Taxes (CIT, Research Tax credits, other Taxes)
- Acquisitions, Divestitures and other M&A operations
- Other Group Balance Sheet Item such as Business Combinations (Goodwill)
- ESG/CSRD Group Reporting

Your Main Responsibilities:
Corporate Function Controlling (c.$80m costs):

- Preparation of the Corporate Functions’ annual Budgets and 3-yrs Business Plan in collaboration with the Group Head of Functions (including CEO, CFO and other Executive Team Members),
- Preparation of the Budget presentations for the Yearly Budget Seminar (CEO’s review) for each Function and the Consolidated view
- Monthly/Quarterly closing of accounts for Corporate Functions in collaboration with accounting teams to ensure the correct costs imputation,
- Production of consolidated monthly reports for functions Executives including Variance Analysis (vs Budget and re-forecasts) and Quarterly reviews with CEO/CFO
- Manage policy and process of Corporate cost allocations to the business lines and guarantee optimal analytical view across the group (IT, Shared services, rent buildings, Other regional costs, etc.)

Reporting and Budgeting of Group-level operations:
The Corporate Controller will also ensure the proper understanding, forecasting and reporting of operations managed at the Group level. She/He will be in charge of contributing to the Group FP&A Monthly/Quarterly/Budget communications for the following items:

- Group Debt Reporting:

- Controlling and Reporting of the Group Debt position ($1.2B High Yield Bond) and forecasting in collaboration with the treasury team (Debt evolution, Debt ratios, Refinancing impacts in Forecast)
- Other Group level Treasury Operations: controlling, forecasting and reporting of activities related to ST financing, investments, hedging, guarantees, etc
- Group Tax Reporting:

- Controlling, Forecasting and Reporting of actual Income Tax cost, Deferred Tax positions in collaboration with the Tax team.
- Other Group level Tax Reporting: Research Tax credits, Non income Taxes
- Support to the Tax team for the Group Tax Strategy (Business Plan by Country)
- M&A operations: Reporting and Controlling of Acquisitions, Divestments, JV operations
- Other Items managed at Group level including documentation of Goodwill Impairment tests in collaboration with Group Controller ($1Bn Goodwill to be documented twice a year)
- ESG/CSRD:

- design and implementation of this new Reporting at the Group level in collaboration with the Chief Sustainable Officer Team,
- Quarterly production of defined Indicators

Ad hoc:

- Take part in various cross-functional working groups (development of our ERP, transformation of management control, etc.),

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in finance or accounting from Business School or University,

Skills and experiences required:

- 8+ years of experience in reporting/controlling department of listed company,
- Proven sense of organization, structured and curious,
- Handling confidential information,
- Strong communication skills, team spirit
- Ability to pass on knowledge: direct supervision of one apprentice,
- Strong appetite for financial systems and tools (ERP, EPM, Excel and PPT),
- Fluent in French and English.
