CCB aspires to be the global bank of choice for trade-oriented companies, with revenues between $50MM - $2.5Bn with an array of products and services, that include: Lending, Cash Management, Trade, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives and Capital Markets solutions. CCB has operations in more than 20 countries. **What you’ll do** - Strategic professional who will undertake quality judgmental lending including _exercising delegated approval authority_ to ensure that good business opportunities are not lost yet safeguarding the business interests of the Bank. - Responsible for the financial analysis, risk assessment and credit structure recommendation for cash flow lending products - Complete in depth analysis of financial data and other information provided by the client and/or banker in the field - Oversee deal approvals including timing of approvals and turnaround in collaboration with Independent Risk and business partners - Monitor an assigned credit portfolio and complete periodic reviews; maintain a thorough understanding of the content and aggregate risks within the portfolio, trends and other key statistics - Execute early warning procedures to promote preventative action where appropriate - Assist in the development of appropriate procedures around approvals, underwriting, and portfolio functions in consultation with Independent Risk and senior business leaders - Assist in the development of appropriate credit guidelines around proposed cash flow lending appetite in consultation with Independent Risk - Assists revenue growth and contains credit losses, while managing risk within credit policy - Pro-actively reach out to line partners, creating a shared learning environment between remote location and front office **What we’ll need from you** - Solid credit experience required. The knowledge and experience in French market and language is essential. - Proven track record of successfully managing credit portfolios in the commercial lending space (Mid & Large Corp) - Excellent communication and diplomacy skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level and occasionally with external customers - Thorough credit and analytical skills, knowledge of credit products - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to train, recruit, and mentor teams of professionals; bold in approach and highly collaborative work style. **What we can offer you** This is a role that'll offer you the opportunity to build an in-depth knowledge of assessing, approving and monitoring of Mid and Large Corp in Global Bank.
