**Supplier Performance Engineer is responsible for**:
- Personal, industrial and nuclear safety as a fundamental part of their job
- **Supplier Evaluation**:
- Conducting overall supplier assessments, evaluating suppliers to specific project capabilities and supporting suppliers through technical issues
- Ensure that a supplier manufacturing facility has all the machines, spare parts, material, components, and supplies require to operate. These goods must comply with Westinghouse’s quality and standards requirements.
- **Supplier Oversight**:
- Creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
- Executing technical witness and hold points
- Supporting the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations
- **Supplier Management**:
- Ensuring flow down of Quality and technical requirements from Westinghouse contract through to the supplier
- Driving the supplier performance, including supplier scorecard. Ensures maximum value is received for the Purchase Order that WEC places to its suppliers, including full compliance to the quality and technical specifications
- Providing Manufaturing technical expertise
- Identifying, proposing, and supporting implementing performance improvements
- Identifying, initiating, leading and implementing timely issue resolution strategies for quality/technical issues in supplier products
- Supporting Commercial Operations and Legal for Quality/technical bases of supplier claims, as required
- Complying with applicable procedures and standards and ensuring all standards and processes are adequately described in Level 2 and 3 procedures
- Bachelor Degree or higher in **Mechanical/Material Engineering**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical/Material engineering with progressive technical experience
- Experience on Oil&Gaz or nuclear projects (beneficial),
- Be familiar with Manufacturing Capability assessment concept/Supplier technical evaluation.
- Fluent in English (TOEIC 850 or equivalent)
- Willing to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
