As the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer reporting into the CEO, you will lead the strategic direction for data management and AI initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the company's data strategy, ensuring optimal data governance and usage, and promoting a data-driven culture. You will also champion the integration of AI - in our products and throughout the company - ensuring alignment with business goals, driving innovation, and ensuring the ethical and responsible use of AI.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Set-up and manage data & AI operations**, including:
- _Team Management_: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams in data science, AI research, and data engineering.
- _AI Integration and performance analytic_s: Lead the integration of AI and ML technologies into business processes, products, and services. Monitor and assess new AI technologies for potential adoption. Define and refine metrics to measure the tangible impact of AI-driven projects, ensuring our data strategy consistently aligns with business objectives.
- _Data Governance and Compliance_: Oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies and best practices, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- _Analytics and Insights_: Lead the business intelligence team in deriving actionable insights from data. Empower decision-makers across the company with relevant data and analytics tools.
**Impulse and coordinate an AI and data culture throughout the organization** in line with our values:
- _Collaboration_: Work closely with all business units to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven solutions and data-backed strategies.
- _Ethical AI_: Advocate for and implement best practices related to the ethical and responsible use of AI, ensuring transparency, fairness, and avoiding bias.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience in a senior data and/or AI leadership role with a track record of successfully implementing data and AI strategies in a corporate environment.
- Ability to bridge the gap between data science and business strategy, translating AI and ML capabilities into tangible business outcomes.
- Broad knowledge of modern AI technologies, data governance standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and drive change.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at translating complex AI and data concepts to a broad audience.
- Understanding of ethical considerations in AI and a commitment to promoting responsible AI practices.
