These CPUs power some of the world’s best-selling smartphones, tablets and gaming systems, using technology that has taken user experience and performance to another level.
**Job Overview**
This internship position is available in the CPU Performance Analysis and Modelling team, an international team comprising of an enthusiastic mix of experts and talented graduates. At the crossroads of software and hardware, our activities cover all performance related topics for CPUs developed in the centre, from early microarchitectural investigations up to performance verification of the final products.
These internship topics vary from CPU micro-architectural studies (cache replacement policies, data prefetchers, branch prediction,....), development of specific features or optimizations in the micro-architectural model (e.g. perfect micro-architectural modes to enable limit studies), as well as performance analysis or performance verification flow improvements (e.g. using machine-learning techniques to automate the initial stages of CPU performance analysis).

We want to make sure that every intern learns about different aspects of our work and grows their knowledge, that is why you will work in a team on real projects from day one, with guidance from expert engineers, and also have dedicated time for personal development.
**Required Skills and Experience**
CPU microarchitecture knowledge
Use of UNIX and shell programming
Fluency in English
**“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience**
Programming skills (C language and/or Python)
VHDL and/or Verilog
Some expertise in Data Science
Knowledge of French
