**Clinical Research Scientist - Category Health**

Do you want to help develop ingredients with tangible health benefits?

Based in Avignon (France), as a member of the Health Category team, part of the Explore Health & Nutrition group of the Science & Technology department of Givaudan's Taste & Wellbeing division, you will contribute to the development of new products of the Health Category and support the initiation, the monitoring and the reporting of clinical studies to the Category Technical Leader Health.

This role is a maternity cover.

**You will**:

- Monitor and coordinate ongoing efficacy clinical studies under Good Clinical Practices within the Physical Health and Mind & Energy research platform and pipeline of projects:

- Participate in site initiation visit
- Perform monitoring visits(virtual and on-site if possible)
- Perform close-out visit
- Visit the site frequently, answer questions, and troubleshoot recruitment and follow-up visit-related issues
- Write visit reports
- Support the preparation for statistical analysis and coordination of blind review with the different partners
- Support the important analysis of data obtained from clinical studies (statistical analysis plan preparation, statistical study report, clinical study report writing with investigation partners)
- Establish relationships with Key opinion leaders and partners such as universities, research centers, CROs
- Work with the regulatory department and potentially consultants on strategic regulatory dossiers for product commercialization approval or health claims approval in the five different regions
- Be a liaison between the different services: other teams in S&T, safety, regulatory & quality insurance, sales and marketing, industrial, purchasing, and logistics for all the aspects related to clinical research material
- Write scientific presentations or reports to be shared within the S&T team, the sales and marketing team, to customers
- Keep an active role in scientific and regulatory literature search about the ongoing projects

**Your professional profile includes**:

- Master in science degree or Ph.D. in Biology, Physiology, Nutrition, or related health areas.
- 3 years minimum of experience in clinical trial initiation, monitoring, and reporting under GCP
- And team skills; experience working collaboratively across departments
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in English, with an acceptable level of ability in the French language
- And interest to travel for work
