**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Your Role and Responsibilities:

- As DBDC specialist you are responsible for planning and performing installation and version upgrade of middleware products (DB2, CICS, MQ) on mainframe platform. In addition, you should understand infrastructure design and maintenance, be able to analyze architecture and security issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting.
- As Database Administrator you are responsible for providing operational database services to the customer.
- You will also participate in the training of the youngest employees of the company.
- Installation and version upgrade of DB/DC systems (DB2, CICS, Websphere MQ).
- DB/DC systems maintenance, objects definition.
- Architecture analysis and design.
- Performance monitoring and tuning.
- Security issues analysis and defect prevention.
- Problem and change management.
- Owning, tracking and resolving physical database related incidents and requests.
- Performing physical database maintenance and restores by running appropriate utility jobs and tools (e.g. UNLOAD/LOAD, REORG, RUNSTATS, RECOVER).
- Identifying performance bottlenecks.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Good knowledge of relational databases.
- SQL language knowledge and skills.
- Capability to work independently and effectively in complex environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database related problems.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT technology domain.
- Service oriented mentality.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
