In this key role you’ll be responsible for the P&L in France, United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordic countries where Western Union has a significant presence. You’ll play a vital role partnering with business leaders to provide comprehensive support, analysis and advice on profitability, performance, and cost control.

**Role Responsibilities**
- You’ll be responsible for the execution of the operating plan & forecast modelling, detailed business analysis and reporting in support of business operations and key initiatives.
- As a key business partner, you’ll provide tactical analysis, establishing priorities, identifying business risks and opportunities and recommending detailed action plans.
- You’ll provide detailed and organised planning direction and guidance to multiple business and finance teams.
- You’ll identify and implement process improvement ideas within your area of responsibility and you’ll be a cross-functional contributor on business and CFO projects
- You’ll play a key leadership role in the finance team, mentoring and supporting colleagues and ensuring the success of the wider team.

**Role Requirements**
- You’ll have substantial and significant experience in a senior financial managerial position, ideally gained within a banking or other financial industry organisation, but your skills and experience are most valued regardless of the sector you’ve worked in.
- You’ll have a strong and relevant academic background having gained degrees in Analytics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
- Your strong financial background will demonstrate your aptitude in using analysis to advise stakeholders and enable you to deliver effective business partnering.
- When we meet, you’ll be able to talk eloquently about influencing and supporting colleagues on a variety of complex projects.
- Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
- Energetic and creative with impeccable organization, written and verbal communication skills, and the utmost attention to detail.
- Ability to work individually, or collaborate with others in a global, fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, making quick decisions, and managing tight timelines.
- Your English and French language skills will be impeccable - any additional languages would also be welcome.
