**Early Careers at Arm**:
Would you like to play a part in developing next-generation technology while working alongside and learning from some of the world’s best engineers?

**Job Overview**:
You will help the development of Arm hardware IP (Intellectual Property) used extensively in a wide variety of devices like mobile phones, tablets, sensors, and servers.

**Responsibilities**:
Some of your accountabilities will be:

- Specifying and developing the tools used by peer engineers in Arm and help building the next generation of Arm’s IP products
- Analysing trade-offs between different options by collaborating with a wide range of engineers: from end-users (HW verification, performance benchmarking) to solution providers (Cloud infrastructure, EDA (Electronic Design Automation) vendors and Arm internal technologies)
- Developing robust software that can sustain millions of runtime hours, run on any architecture, any cloud, is power efficient and ergonomic
- Maximising efficiency and eliminate usage of useless compute resources everywhere possible in the engineering process. (ML (Machine Learning) for verification, usage analysis)

**Required Skills and Experiences**:
We are looking for the next generation of innovative engineers to join us

Whilst we will develop and enhance your experience and skills on program, there are a few things that you need to offer too, and this role is for you if you:

- Have a keen curiosity for software and operating systems
- Understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles (CI/CD)
- Experience of at least one object oriented programming language
- Use of a UNIX environment and shell programming/scripting

**“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience**:

**.**
- Knowledge of cloud-computing technologies: containerisation (e.g., Docker), Providers specificities (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Programming languages such as: high-level (e.g., C), object-oriented (e.g., Python, Java, C++), assembly language (ideally Arm assembler).
- Exposure to verification techniques and testbenches (e.g., UVM and Formal)
- Familiarity with hardware description languages, such as VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog
