You can count on our innovative solutions to contribute to safer, cleaner and more sustainable future. **Role Overview** **We are looking for** - ** A Site Star Factory/Manufacturing Excellence Change Agent to support Star Factory (SF) program and Manufacturing Excellence (ME) and digital initiatives at the Dombasle site, under the responsibility of the Site Star Factory Leader and working in close collaboration with the Dombasle team.** **We count on you to** - ** Support manufacturing excellence projects / transformational initiatives** - ** Contributes to the realization of diagnostics (ex. animation workshops, interviews), and identifies improvement opportunities)** - ** Leads the creation of implementation plans (TIP) and recommends the most appropriate processes, methods, and tools.** - ** Ensures the follow-up and the execution of the TIP and animates the various meetings of preparation, follow-up, and closing of the TIP.** - ** Tracks and reports project results and KPIs and ensures that performance management meetings are held.** - **Ensure the proper deployment of the methodology (digital and operational excellence)** - ** Selects and applies standards/methods/tools and coaches teams (e.g. digital "way of working" approach).** - ** Proposes and implements improvements to standards/methods/tools.** - ** Knows Lean Management, and applies its methodology (5S, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).** - **Communicate progress and share best practices** - ** Assists in preparation and presents formal communications.** - ** Shares and implements best practices between departments/sites and ensures consistency of standards across departments.** - **Disseminate a culture of excellence on site (promotion of the manufacturing excellence approach, development, and deployment of training, coordination of a network of continuous improvement correspondents)** - ** Maintains the site training records system and ensures compliance with the quality policy.** - ** Regularly carries out planned safety rounds, audits, dialogues, and observations and integrates HSE aspects into the excellence process.** - ** You will report to the Site Star Factory / Manufacturing Excellence Leader** **You will bring** **Education and experience** - ** BS or Master degree in Engineering or related field of discipline.** - ** Background in industrial domains (Process Industry / Maintenance...)** - ** Operational experience in a production environment is a plus** - ** Desirable to have previous experience in Transformation projects** **Skills** - ** Fluency in French and advanced level in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus.** - ** Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement** - ** Comfortable using digital tools** - ** Data-Driven and Results oriented, with expertise in Six Sigma (green belt or black belt training is a plus)** - ** Role model in term of continuous improvement mindset & behavior to sustain a transformational environment in the site** - ** Agile** - ** Constantly learn, unlearn and relearn.** - ** Team player** - ** Good organizational and relational skills: the ability to listen, understanding of others, natural authority, initiative, ability to synthesize, efficient, desire to improve.** **Value for you** - ** The role will benefit from visibility at plant and GBU level.** **Additional information** - ** Location: Dombasle, France** - ** Remote working: Not applicable** - ** Travel within EU (up to 10%)** **#LI-KS1** **Solvay’s purpose is to bond people, ideas and elements to reinvent progress.
