**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Innovation and Development Division (of which ALIAD is part) drives the innovation strategy for the Group’s Hubs and Operations. It contributes to the operational excellence and future growth of the Group by creating new offers in both traditional and new businesses. It is responsible for imaging, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including Digital and IT).

3,600 employees work within entities dedicated to innovation or which contribute to innovation by developing and launching new offers and products. Patented inventions contribute to the Group’s competitiveness and differentiation of its offers, and illustrate its capacity for technological innovations. The Air Liquide portfolio is made up of 14,000 patents, the largest in its industry.

**ALIAD in a few words**

Air Liquide Venture Capital (ALIAD) was established in 2013 as the Air Liquide Group’s venture capital arm.

ALIAD supports, as a sparring partner, the emergence and the growth of technology startups by taking minority stakes. ALIAD focuses on future technologies by supporting the development of startups through its industrial and technological know-how, its understanding of the market and its customers.

Through these minority investments, ALIAD provides Air Liquide with a unique access to innovative ecosystems by:

- supporting strategic partnerships between technology companies, the Air Liquide Group and its industrial ecosystem;
- funding startups and driving operating value creation (from early-stage to commercial scale-up) through board representation.

Its commitment is illustrated by technological and business partnerships between the startups and other entities within the Group.

Since its creation, ALIAD has invested in more than 40 companies and funds.

**Missions and Responsibilities**

Operations Control
- Assist the analysts in Flash monthly Reports and reforecasts (including major KPIs progress versus Target, financial updates)
- Participate to Audit preparation (planned in March 2025)
- Financial reporting regarding AUM

Treasury and Accounting Back Office
- Treasury Management (cash overviews, transfer management, pooling discussions with Head Office)

Venture Capital
- Deallflow scouting and shortlisting
- Work jointly with the analysts on (i) valuation of the prospect companies (understand and challenge the assumptions of the Business plan, value the start-ups using DCF and multiple methods) and (ii) exit scenarii (waterfall, captable analysis)
- Market study on a case by case basis
- Work jointly with the analysts on Investment Notes redaction to support Investment Directors

**Are you a MATCH?
**Education**

Currently enrolled in a Master in a Business School, Engineering Schools or University; with a background in corporate finance.

**Experience**

A first experience in M&A, VC, Audit or finance is a plus.
