The Site Reliability Engineering teams keep one of the largest computing platforms in the AdTech world functioning like clockwork. They keep our products running using a broad selection of technologies, like large scale data compute & storage services (Hadoop, SQL & NoSQL), streaming (Kafka), platform as a service (Chef, Mesos, Kubernetes), identity management (Kerberos) and analytics (Hive, Druid, Vertica), as well as an extensive monitoring/observability infrastructure. The Container-Platform team designs, builds and operates the current and next gen platforms to run product services on our world-wide Criteo infrastructure. We spend time to understand our client needs and help them launch thousands of instances of their apps across the world, isolated using containers and connected through our internal service mesh network. **What You'll Do**: - Improve isolation between containers to allow colocation of intensive tasks on the same servers (solving "the noisy neighbour problem") - Fight against toil and time-consuming tasks to automate ourselves out of the job - Interview our users to understand what they really need and how we can help them focus on their own mission - Design the automation of server maintenance with mínimal disruption on user service - Build a platform that abstracts away Kubernetes, Mesos and in general the infrastructure for our users. **What about you?**: - You’re experienced with large-scale infrastructure management & designs - You are opened and eager to learn new softwares, frameworks and APIs - You are a seasoned developer, and you're not afraid to write code in Go, Python, Ruby, Scala, or C++ - even if it's your first time working in that stack. - You are curious about Linux ecosystem, network, and container orchestration solutions (Mesos, Kubernetes ) - You have good communication skills in English - You are team oriented and enjoy working closely with others LI-hybrid #LI-onsite #LI-remote At Criteo, we believe the future is wide open when it includes everyone.
