- **Research Scientist in Wind Energy Engineering Models M/F**.
- The position will be located at Saclay in an R&D team specialized in numerical simulation for design and optimization of our floating offshore wind farms.
- In this context, the engineer will have to:
- Participate in the roadmap definition and implementation of R&D projects
- Collect needs and propose technical developments
- Propose enhancement and new engineering models for accurate prediction of energy production, loadings, and fatigue of FOWT (Floating Offshore Wind Turbines)
- Implementing these models inside an in-house computational platform
- Supervise internships, PhDs and postdocs
- Publish reports and peer-reviewed articles summarizing research findings, while ensuring preservation and development of the Intellectual Property of the company
- Present results at program meetings and scientific conferences
- PhD or Engineering degree in Physics with at least 5 years of experience in academia or industry
- Experience in the simulation of wind turbines with one or more commercial or open-source software
- Knowledge of numerical methods, including reduced order models
- Research creativity and impact demonstrated through new products/solutions development and/or publication track record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
