We are looking for a Complex Claims Handler to work on Construction, Energy, Property and Entertainment Claims.

**Your Team**
Based in Paris la Défense and reporting to the Head of AGCS France Property, Energy & Construction & Entertainment Claims, you will work on complex claims with a focus on Construction. You will drive excellence in the claims handling service provided to brokers, clients and internal customers.

**The Impact You Will Have**
You will resolve high exposure complex claims, ensuring cost effective service-oriented solutions and work supportively with your team members and manager to retain and win key clients and work towards continuous improvement.

**Some of your specific responsibilities could include**:

- Analyze loss data to determine insurance coverage, analyze our contracts and appraisal reports
- Determine principal and expense reserves
- Select and manage external service providers
- Develop, manage and implement strategy, provide solutions for our clients
- Determine the amount of compensation due under the insurance contract and produce an appropriate settlement offer
- Support less experienced members of the team with their daily tasks
- Work in conjunction with teams across AGCS to win and retain key clients
- Support establishment of claims management procedures in association with clients, brokers and loss adjusters
- Support development of the claims strategy to ensure profitable growth and a strong market position

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**
- Advanced knowledge of insurance claims and ideally a legal background, previous experience handling Property & Casualty or Technical Risk insurance
- Fluent French and a very good level of English
- Your strong sense of customer service
- Your organized and structured approach to work and formulating solutions
- An ability to analyze, summarize
- At ease communicating with external partners and able to negotiate
- A sense of initiative, keen to boost our efficiency as a team
