Overview
LaSalle Investment Management is seeking a full-time Associate to join its Global Solutions group in Europe. LaSalle GS is the indirect real estate division of the firm, with c. US$11 billion of assets under management including securities, fund-of-funds, joint ventures, co-investments and secondaries across all major and select niche asset classes (office, industrial, multifamily, retail, healthcare, etc.), geographies (domestic US and international), risk profiles (core, value-add and opportunistic), and the capital stack (equity and debt).

The role will be focused on analysing and executing indirect private equity real estate investment opportunities as well as active asset management and monitoring of closed/ ongoing investments. Further responsibilities include portfolio management, client reporting and supporting the team's strategic initiatives. LaSalle GS is a global business and while the Associate will be working primarily on investment opportunities across Europe, the role would require close collaboration with colleagues around the globe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the reviewing, underwriting and evaluating the relative value of co-investments, club deals and joint ventures across developed markets in Europe.
- Perform complex financial analyses: assist in building financial models and setting up cash flow projections.
- Set up and prepare regular client reports while working closely with the regional finance team, regional portfolio manager and global portfolio management team.
- Closely monitor property-level and portfolio-level investment performance.
- Contribute to management of investment partners and underlying investments as well as external service providers.
- Assist with investor communications and presentation preparation.
- Gather and evaluate economic and real estate market data.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
- Master’s degree with focus in real estate, finance and/or economics
- A minimum of 3-5 years of full-time professional experience in direct or indirect real estate investments, portfolio or fund management
- Excellent understanding of the real estate and broader investment markets
- Understanding of financial and accounting theory and practice, corporate finance, capital markets and investment structures
- Excellent financial modelling skills, including proficient use of Excel
- Outstanding analytical and communication with the ability to independently analyse ideas and proposals, draft investment memoranda and present to investment committees
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude, who approaches new projects, tasks and ideas with motivation, curiosity, and flexibility
- Ability to work as part of a global team and to manage competing and unanticipated deadlines
- Proficient English required, fluency in another European language desired
